I'm currently a researcher on the Latino Youth Health Survey team at the UCLA Center for Health Policy Research. I helped design our California Health Interview Survey (CHIS) follow-on instrument, which asks Latino parents in California about their experiences using health care services. We finished data collection in early 2023 and I am currently working on analyses and preparation of our team's first manuscripts with our new data. 

I recently finished my PhD through UCLA Fielding School of Public Health's Community Health Sciences Department.

My dissertation used National Household Transportation Study (2017 NHTS) data to investigate patterns in walking participation and frequency among 1) older adults, 2) people with disabilities and 3) immigrants in the US.
